10. Marc Gasol- You don't hear Marc's name come up a lot when people talk about the Grizzlies let alone the NBA. Once thought to be a throw in for Pau Gasol he's proven to be a big time force down low. He was an all star this past season but still he doesn't get enough recognition. In a league where all around good centers are hard to find Gasol shines in a lot of different ways. He's a good shot blocker, solid free throw shooter, and a good passer in addition to his scoring ability and rebounding. He's the answer at Center for a team in the Grizzlies who have a lot of question marks
8. Paul Millsap- Millsap doesn't have a lot of flaws in his game and I've seen him have big games against some of the better PF's in the league. To me the Jazz underplay him and if he got the 37 minutes a game he should be getting he'd be a 20-10 player. He's in his prime now and I expect him to have an all star appearance or two over the next few seasons.
7. Ty Lawson- Lawson is just a blur with the Basketball. He's undersized but makes up for it with his speed. Nobody in the league can stay in front of this guy. His court vision has also improved a lot over his first few seasons in the league. He's rarely talked about as a top PG and I think he has a chance to be an all star next season.
6. Kyle Lowry- Lowry was playing out his mind in the beginning of last year and was putting up all star type numbers over the first couple months of the season. He was a triple double threat every night until he got a bacterial infection that kept him out a ton of games from early march until the end of the season. He's one of the stronger PG's in the game and when he's healthy he should be talked about as one of the better 1's in the league. I look for him to make the Raptors a much better team.
5. Jrue Holiday- Holiday has a bright future ahead of him. He's still just 21 but one of the better young guards in the league. He's got good scoring ability and has improved his defense a lot over the past couple of seasons. He doesn't get the publicity he deserves and I don't think anyone on the sixers really does.
4. Greg Monroe- It doesn't help that he plays for the Pistons but Monroe is underrated and will soon be a household name. He's a 20-10 player waiting to happen and is a double double machine. He's got a good mid range game and can play with his back to the basket as well. Also an excellent passer. I think he can be someone the Pistons build around for a long time.
3. Tony Parker-Tony Parker is a big time name on this list and even though he's got rings and all star appearances he still doesn't get the credit he deserves. For whatever reason a lot of the spurs don't. You here a lot of Chris Paul talk, along with Derrick Rose, Russell Westbrook, Rajon Rondo and even Deron Williams. Rarely do you here Tony Parker mentioned with or before any of those guys and he should be. Parker is a winner and he's been doing work ever since he got in the league. Not to mention he was an MVP type player last year.
2. Lamarcus Aldridge- Aldridge finally got some love this year as he made the all star team after being snubbed this year before but still he doesn't the attention he deserves. He's one of the most skilled players in the league as he has an automatic mid range jumper and a good post game to go with it. He's somebody the Blazers should continue to build around as he's maybe the 2nd best PF behind Kevin Love and in his prime.
1. Nikola Pekovic- You can call me Pekovic's hype man because I've been signing his praises for a while now. This guy is a BEAST in every sense of the word. He's given the business to just about every top center in the game. Dwight Howard couldn't stop him. Andrew Bynum was once quoted as saying "Thank God they took Pekovic out of the game.", when Pek was in foul trouble against the Lakers and was limited in minutes. He's owned Demarcus Cousins. Went for 21 and 9 vs. Tyson Chandler. The list goes on. He's got some of the best footwork in the game and at 6'11 and 290 pounds that's a big time skill to have. He was 5th in the league in FG % and was one of the best offensive rebounders. Add in his soft touch around the basket and you have one of the best centers in the game. Put up great numbers as a starter and this was while he had bone spurs in his ankle. I put him 1 on this list because I know people don't catch a lot of Timberwolves games and even if they do Pek is overshadowed by K Love and Rubio. He will start next year and I expect him to turn heads.
Yo browww remember that time I broke gary's ankles in dyker OCK OCK OCK!
