WINNERS AND LOSERS OF THIS NBA      OFF-SEASON SO FAR

This NBA off season has been one of the wildest in some time. Between the draft, free agents, and trades so much has gone on this off season. Right now we are gonna take a look at some of the winners and losers so far this NBA off season.
Brooklyn Nets
The fact that they kept Deron Williams makes them a winner. Add on that they got Joe Johnson, kept Gerald  Wallace, and are on the verge of getting Dwight Howard this has been a great off season for the Nets. In a time when they are moving to Brooklyn and needed to make an impact. Say what you want if you think the pieces will work together the Nets will be better next season and very well could be the best team in New York now.

Los Angels Lakers
The Lakers needed a point guard that can get the big guys the ball, hit the three, and can take pressure off Kobe. They did a pretty good job of that by getting Steve Nash. While Nash doesn't help them as far as athleticism when they have to face a team like the Thunder. He does help them in all the things I just mentioned. The Lakers just need to get a solid wing defender to be a legit threat to the Thunder. Getting Nash though makes them the number 2 team in the west.

Boston Celtics
Even though I don't think losing Ray Allen was a good thing everything else Boston did before that was good. Drafting Fab Melo and Jared Sullenger were good picks by Boston getting to young big men to develop. Bringing back Kevin Garnet showed they are thinking about winning not rebuilding. Getting Jason Tery was a big pick up and even bigger now knowing that they arent getting Ray Allen back. Boston will be in the hunt again next year.

New York Knicks
The big reason why the Knicks are on the winners edge is that they did almost everything I said they should do a few weeks ago. They got a veteran point guard in Jason Kidd. They brought back Jermey Linn and got rid of Landry Feilds. They are keep Iman Shumpurt. They went out and got Marcus Camby. The only thing the Knicks dint do is get rid of Amare. The reason for that is everyone around him is saying he is healthy. If he is the Knicks will be improved. If not it will be another first round exist for the Knicks.

Miami Heat
A team that has Dwyane Wade, LeBron James, and Chris Bosh and is the defending world champs really don't have much to do in the off season. With all that being said they get the best three point shooter of all time for a team that's role players get so many open shots. You also hurt your biggest rival in the Boston Celtics. Bringing in Ray Allen make the Heat even more scary which isnt good for the rest of the league.

Washington Wizards
The Wizards are my sleeper team next year. Not because they get Bradly Beal. They went out and made some nice trades which is gonna really improve their team. They went out and get Emeka Okafor and Trevor Ariza. To go along with John Wall and Nene to make a very solid starting five and for the first time give the Wizards a team to put around John Wall.

New Orleans Hornets
The Hornets won for a bunch of reasons. They got a new owner in Tom Benson. They got the first and tenth pick and drafted Anthony Davis and Austin Rivers. They also are going to keep Eric Gordan. The Hornets are building a nice young team that in a few years can be a contender.

Los Angels Clippers
The Clippers went out and got two clutch shooters to help out Chris Paul. They got Jamal Crawford to help out with their shooting, and they got Chauncey Billups to help Paul with the ball handling and who is also one of the best clutch shooters in the game. They are also about to get Marshaun Brooks as well. Even though I think they have a future star on their bench in Eric Bledso the Clippers did make some good moves

Charlotte Bobcats
Lets be honest any move they make is a good move. Getting Michael Kidd Gilchrist is only gonna be a positive.

Orlando Magic
Trading Dwight Howard, getting draft picks and young players and ending this saga is a plus. The Magic are off to a fresh start.

Losers
Dallas Mavericks
Mark Cuban made it well known last year after they won. He is going for one of the big time free agents this year. He dint bring back parts from the championship team in 2010. He wanted Deron Williams and Dwight Howard. Well those to appear to be heading to Brooklyn and their point guard from 2010 Jason Kidd is in New York and their old point guard who they wanted back Steve Nash is with the Lakers. Looks like poor Dirk will never have a chance to get another ring in Dallas could it be time he looked for a trade?

Houston Rockets
Every day I would look at NBA news and the Rockets were making moves. Weather it be making a trade or singing a player to an offer sheet. As of right now they dint get Omar Asik, they dint get Jeremy Linn, they traded Kyle Lowery and they lost out on Dwight Howard. Other then the picks they made in the draft what moves did the Rockets really make?

Philadelphia 76ers
After doing what you did in the playoffs last year. How do you get rid of Elton Brand and Lue Willaimas. Then try to trade Andre Iguodala?

Toronto Raptors
When Landry Feilds is you big pick up you know you had a bad off season.

THE NBA
While all these super teams and stars wanting to play together is cool. I still don't like how these players hold franchises up and the fan bases. Thats why I say players today don't have what it takes to play back in the early days. The greats wanted to beat the other greats not join them.
