TOP 10 Teams in Baseball through the first 3 months of the year

We are in the begging of July which means we are half way done with the baseball season. Right now we are gonna take a look at who are the top 10 teams in the league at the half way point.
10.) New York Mets
The Mets are one of the surprises in baseball this season. They have a underrated pitching staff that has two possible aces, they have a manager they can get behind, they have the leading hitter in baseball in David Wright, and they believe they can win. Which they haven't in years past.

9.) Los Angeles Dodgers
If Matt Kemp was healthy all year they would be in the top five. As of now their hitting is slacking with out him. They still have Andre Either they still have one of the best pitchers in baseball Clayton Kershaw. They just have to hang around when Matt Kemp comes back and they will be just fine hes that good.

8.) Pittsburgh Pirates
This is not a typo. The Pirates are a threat. They have a good pitching staff with James McDonald and AJ Burnet. They have one of the best young players in Andrew Mcutchen. All these years of rebuilding may finally be paying off with this team as they could be playoff bound.

7.) Baltimore Orioles
Any other division they would be in first. The Orioles are one of the best young teams in the game lead by Adam Jones and Matt Weiters. There young pitching has slowed down as the year goes on plus they are in the toughest division in baseball and with all these young players can they keep up?

6.) Cincinnati Reds
A young team the is hitting its potential and has playoff experience a very good mix. They have Joey Votto who has a 1.103 OPS. They have other good hitters like Jay Bruce and Brandon Phillips. They have an ACE with nasty stuff in Johnny Cueto as well as a closer in Aroldis Chapman. This is a team that has a chance to go far in a up in the air National League

5.) San Francisco Giants
The Giants being this high is a little bit of a surprise. Not because they don't have the talent because they do. Its because they have't gotten anything out of Tim Lincecum. Pitchers like Mat Cain, Madison Bumgarner, Barry Zito, and Ryan Vogelsong. The Giants are also hitting with players like Melky Cabrera, Buster Posey, and Pablo Sandoval. They are gonna be a hard team to beat come playoff time.

4.) Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim
The team that if they are right is maybe the scariest in the league. They have on paper one of the best pitching staffs in baseball. They have Albert Pujols who is still one of the most feared hitters in baseball. They also have two good young hitter in Mike Trout and Mark Trumbo. They also have Mike Scioscia who I think is the best manager in baseball. This team threat.

3.) Washington Nationals
In a year when The Phillies would not be themselfs do to injuries no team has taken advantage of that more then Washington. They have a young team that is winning ealier then expected They have a pitching staff led by Stephen Strasburg and Gio Gonzalez. Bryce Harpper has lived up to the hype. Maybe the best hitter on the team Ryan Zimmerman hasn't played the way he could yet which is scary. The only thing that can stop them from a World Series run is if they shut Strasburg down because of the innings limit he is gonna reach. If not they are the team to beat in the NL.

2.) Texas Rangers
The Rangers started off on fire to start the year. They cooled off at the end of May and early June, but are starting to heat up now. They have Josh Hamilton who right now is the AL Mvp and their line up is still one of the most explosive line ups in the game. Joe Nathan looks like his old self, and the starting rotation has done well thus far with no true number one starter. The Rangers once again are a top contender.

1.) New York Yankees
The team everyone wrote off at the start of the year is playing its best baseball right now. The Yankees have over came the odds all season so far. Once Mariano Rivera the greatest closer ever went down everyone thought this season was done. With the emergence of Rafael Soriano looking like the Soriano from a few years ago. The line up which has no weak spots 1-9 when everyone is in there and healthy. The starting staff hitting its stride despite injuries to C.C. Sabathia and Andy Petiite the Yankees still are looking like the team to beat.
