2012 NBA DRAFT REVIEW WINNERS AND LOSERS
Another year another NBA draft me and Draft will look at the winners and losers.
SPINZZ
WINNERS

HORNETS
Its obvious Anthony Davis is a franchise changer. He can defend rebound and has an ever improving offensive game. To me Austin Rivers in gonna be an All Star getting a guy who can create his own shot is big. You have him and Anthony Davis you put them with Eric Gordan you have a legit threat in a few years. They also drafted Davis college teammate Darious Miller.

BOBCATS
Any pick is a good pick for the Bobcats. Getting Michael Kid-Gilchrist was the best pick. MKG never stops and is a hard worker. Those are two things the Bobcats need. They also got Jeff Taylor who is a ever improving scorer and a good defender, things are looking up for the Bobcats.

WIZARDS
The Wizards will be a playoff team. After the trades they made and this draft they are going to be a playoff team. John Wall needed a shooter and he got one in Beal. Beal will spread the floor and Make John Wall a better player.

BLAZERS
The Blazers are winners because of the last pick they made. Yes they drafted Damian Lillard who is gonna be a scoring machine. They then drafted Meyers Leonard who im not big on. Then they got maybe the steal of the draft in Will Barton. Barton who was projected to be a first rounder the closer we got to draft day getting him in the second is a steal.

Kings
Thomas Robinson is a high character guy who is gonna push Damascus Cousins. He is a leader and someone that a franchise will be proud to build around cause they know he will lead them the right way.

BUCKS
The Bucks had a very underrated draft John Henson and Doron Lamb are guys who can contribute right away. Henson is a good athlete that can help the Bucks front line, and Lamb is a deadly shooter.

CELTICS
The Celtics did two things tonight. Retooled for next season and made moves for the future who the big three are gone and its Rondos team. Fab Melo and Jared Sullenger are in great situations. Two guys with question marks coming in the draft but they are in the perfect situation to improve.

ROCKETS
The Rockets did well with the three picks they got. They drafted Jermey Lamb, Terrance Jones, and Royce White. Lamb is a guy when his head is in the game can be an impact guy. Royce White is a versatile player. To me the big pick was Terrance Jones. I think Terrance Jones is gonna be an all star and I think that he will be the best player the Rockets drafted this year.

CAVSDion Waiters is the reason they are a winner. A great wing defender and scorer Waiters matched up with Kyrie Irving  That is gonna be a nice back court for years. The Tyler Zeller move im not big on but if he is used in a back up role you cant go wrong.

THUNDERThe Thunder got another great athlete what a shocker. Perry Jones was a steal a player with top 10 talent fell because of his knee problems. If Perry Jones is healthy this might be one of the biggest steals we have seen in a while.

BULLSThe Bulls have one goal this year. Hang around till Derick Rose comes back and make a run. Drafting Marquis Teague could go a long way in doing thing. Teague couldn't of went to a better situation. He went to the deepest team in the NBA and the best defensive team in the NBA as well.

LOSERES
Raptors
I am not sold on Terrence Ross as a lottery pick. I think he is gonna be a guy that winds up being a three point specialist at best. Quincy Acey will be a better pick for them then Ross

Warriors Harison Barnes is a player who I thought will be the biggest bust in this draft. He disappears in big games. He needs a point guard to set him up and he is in the wrong situation for that. They also drafted Festus Ezeli who im not big on aswell. Draymond Green I think is a better pick for them.

MavsI really don't know what the Mavs plan was this draft.I understand that they traded Lamar Odem which was a plus but they wound up walking away with Jae Crowder and Berrnard James. Who are decent guys but not guys who can help you in the long term which the Mavs need.

KnicksThe Knicks lost when they traded there first round pick for T Mac.

There where other teams who did well which I will get more into latter on but I think these are the teams with the bigger story good or bad.

D RAFF
Winners

Cavs- Some people say they reached on Waiters but this kid is ready to play right now and will give the Cavs a big time scoring punch next to Kyrie Irving. He's got superstar potential because of his ability to get to the rim. They landed Tyler Zeller as well who runs the floor as good as any big man in this draft and fits in nice with Irving and the Cavs offense. They picked up 2 starters, or if the Cavs decide to bring Waiters off the bench they got a James Harden type of scorer off the bench.

Wizards- Wizards are trying to change their culture and adding Beal helps that big time. He's a big time shooter and when you team him up with Wall you got a great young backcourt. They also took Tomas Satoransky who is unknown but he's a 6'7" PG who's really athletic and could be a nice peice down the road.

Blazers- Damian Lillard is a beast and should be the Blazers starting PG for a long time. I am not sold on Meyers Leonard but he does have the tools to become a good starting center. They grabbed the steal of draft in Will Barton. Barton to me was a lottery type talent in this draft and with guys like Terrence Ross and Jeremy Lamb going so high I love this pick even more.

Thunder- The rich get richer with Perry Jones. No doubt this kid is a top 5 talent in this draft he's that good. Dropped because of bad workouts and medical concerns but the Thunder who didn't really need any help got this kid and will make GMs cry that they passed on him.

Loseres
Rockets- Not knocking any of their picks but they wanted to get Dwight Howard, move up to the 2nd pick, or move up to the 5th pick and they did none of that. When you wheel and deal like they did you wanna get something done. I will say they did have good picks and Royce White could be a beast.

Pacers- Reached on Miles Plumlee with a lot of other talented players on the board. Probably should've taken Marquis Teague or Perry Jones. Plumlee is a good player who will do the dirty work for teams but he's not that talented and a team like Indiana who doesn't have that many holes in the team should've taken a guy with a good amount of potential.

Any team who passed on Perry Jones.

Penguins keep Sidney Crosby for a long time
Arguably the best player in the NHL is gonna stay in Pittsburgh for a long time. Today it was announced that the Penguins will keep their franchise player for a long time. They signed Crosby to a 12 year contract that will pay Sid the kid 8.7 million a year which is good because it gives them money flexibly to make more moves. When healthy Crosby is the best player in the game. His won MVPs, Stanley Cups, and a gold metal. The only question mark is Crosby s health. He missed most of this season with conclusion problems. If he is healthy this is a great deal, but that's a big if.
ITALY BEATS GERMANY FACES SPAIN IN THE EURO FINAL IN A REMATCH FROM 08
One of the biggest upsets of the Euro's has taken place as heavy favorite Germany fell to Italy 2-1. Italy was led by Mario Balotelli who scored both goals for the Italian team. This was the best game of Balotellis care as he said after the game "This is the greatest night of my life, but I hope Sunday is going to be even better," Everyone coming into this game already crowed Germany the winners so thats what makes this game as big an upset as it is.

Sunday the Rematch will happen between Italy and Spain. When they played in the EUROS in 2008 Spain won on penalty kicks. These two teams played again in the first game of the EUROS it ended in a 1-1 tie. Italy is the only team to score on Spain in this EURO. You have to believe if the last two match ups where any indication that we are in for a good one Sunday afternoon

NBA Draft 2012: Sleepers

The NBA draft is less then 24 hours away and while we know Anthony Davis will go number 1 not much is known after that. Here we have 5 players who could go anywhere from the mid first round to the second round and produce big time for the team that gambles on them.

5. Darius Johnson Odom- DJO is an undersized SG but he's one of the most athletic and tough players in this draft. The lefty can flat out shoot the rock and he's a pest on defense too. He's will go somewhere in round 2 and be a nice addition to whoever takes him.
4. Royce White- White is a legit point-forward. He did everything for his team in college. He's got great size and just needs to get a more consistent jumper. There's no doubting this kids skill and talent but he does have anxiety issues which might scare GM's off. Whatever team takes a flyer on the kid afraid to play is getting a nasty player.

3. Evan Fournier- Fournier will probably be the only euro taken in the 1st round. He's got good size at 6'7" and he handles the ball well. He's a solid shooter and the best thing about him is his age. He's only 19 and gets better every time he steps on the court. He's projected to go in the 20's and whatever team lands him is getting good value because in a few years Fournier will be great.

2. Quincy Miller- If not for a December 2010 ACL injury Miller would be a top 10 pick. I wish he would've stayed at Baylor but he decided it was best to jump to the league. He's got great size at 6'10" and has a similar game and build to Kevin Durant. Now he's no KD obviously but he does have a nice jumper and good range for a guy his height. If he gets his athleticism back he's going to be a scary player.
1. Will Barton- My top sleeper is Will "the thrill i'm better then kobe" Barton. How Barton isn't being mocked top 15 is beyond me. He can flat out score the rock. He gets to the rim at will and has a decent jump shot but just needs to be more consistent with that part of his game. He's 6'6" but really skinny. I don't see that hurting him as much as people say it will. Regardless, Barton has the offensive skills to be a very effective player in the league and will be.

PRE NBA DRAFT NEWS AND NOTS

  • The Lakers are looking into trading Pau Gasol. Either to the Hawks for Josh Smith or for a top 5 pick and get Michael Kidd-Gilchrist.
  • The Rockets keep making moves they have moved up in the draft and now own have the No. 12, 16 and 18 picks.
  • Houston traded the 14th pick for the 12th pick to the Bucks and also sent Samuel Dalembert to Milwaukee.
  • Speaking of the Rockets they have brought back Perry Jones for a workout as they look at all there options with all there picks.
  • Jamal Crawford has opted to be a free agent. You know he will be sought after by many teams
  • In shocking new the Thunder are looking into trading up for Bradly Beal. This is shocking because many believe the Thunder are the team to beat in the west and the only way to get Beal is to break up there core.
  • The Bucks are talking to both Monte Ellis and Brandon Jennings for extensions.
  • In more Lakers Trade news. There have been taalks that the Lakers and Rockets have talked about a trade in which the Lakers would get Kyle Lowery and picks for Pau Gasol
  • Amare Stoudemire has said he is going to work out with  Hakeem Olajuwon  on his post game. The dream helped LeBron this past summer
  • The Warriors are in talks with Denver to try and swap the number 7 pick for Wilson Chandler. Denver is also working on a package to get Bradley Beal.
  • Donnie Walsh has rejoined the Pacers in  there front office. He will have the final say in all personnel moves.
  • The Wizards are shopping the number 3 pick.
  • The Bulls are going to take a combo guard at the 29th pick.
  • The Bobcats have upgraded there scoing in trading for Ben Gordan. They recived Gordan from the Pistons for Corry Maggette. The Bobcats also get a lottery protected draft pick.

Lakers and Hawks near blockbuster trade
The Lakers and Hawks are nearing a trade that will send Josh Smith to the Lakers for Pau Gasol. This would be a good upgrade for both teams. The Hawks need a leader with championship experience. For the Lakers this gets them a big time athlete that they need. Smith has one year 13 million dollars left on his contract.

Spain Advances To Euro Final

Another major soccer tournament, another final appearance for Spain. They defeated Portugal on penalty kicks in what was a disappointing game in regulation. Not much happened and there weren't many chances for either team to score. In extra time, Portugal looked to have settled on a penalty kick shootout against Spain and didn't look to attack much at all. Spain on the other hand was at it's best in the extra time. Their best chance to score came when an unmarked Iniesta had a shot a few feet away from goal but Portuguese goalie Rui Patricio made a nice diving save. They also saw a free kick by Sergio Ramos go just over the bar.

During the penalty shootout both Spain's Xabi Alonso and Portugal's Joao Moutinho missed the first kicks for their respective teams. After the misses, kicks by Andres Iniesta, Gerard Pique, and Sergio Ramos all found the net for Spain. Portugal's Nani also scored as well as Pepe. Bruno Alves then missed his opportunity and that gave Cesc Fabregas a chance to win it for Spain. He found the net and Spain went on to win the penalty shootout and advance to face the winner of the Germany/Italy match. One name missing from the penalty shootout recap was Cristiano Ronaldo. Ronaldo was set to kick 5th for his country but never got the chance because Portugal had missed 2 of it's first 4 kicks and Spain only missed 1. It was a mistake by Portugal manager Paulo Bento as your best player and the best player on the planet should be taking an early penalty kick. Hard to fault him in the end because you never know what can happen in a penalty shootout but most managers would have their stars go in the front of the shootout.

Spain manager Vincente Del Bosque decided to not start or even play striker Fernando Torres. I would look for them to play him in the final as they didn't have many opportunities to score in this game and adding a striker increases that chance. Nevertheless, Spain advances yet again. The pass masters will have a chance to make history as they look to become the first country ever to win three straight major titles. I wouldn't doubt them
YANKEES ACE CC SABATHIA ON THE DL
Bad new coming out today for the AL East leading New York Yankees. There ace CC Sabathia will be out until after the all star break with a muscle strain in his left leg. CC who is 9-3 with a 3.45 ERA, will miss his next two stars and Freddy Garcia will be stepping into his place in the rotation. This isnt all bad news for the Yankees considering CC will only miss two starts but with the Yankees playing their best baseball of the season its never fun to see your ACE out.
Knicks Star Stoudemire fined 50k for gay slur...

Knicks star Amare Stoudemire was fined today 50 k after tweeting  a gay slur. Amare messaged a fan after the fan told him "You better come back stronger and quicker to make up for last season." at the end there was some censored worrds. The Knicks power foward then messaged the fan (picture above). Amare then apologized to the fan and then left a statement. In his statement he said "I am a huge supporter of civil rights for all people," he also added "I am disappointed in myself for my statement to a fan. I should have known better and there is no excuse." The Knicks have no comment on the situation but you must think how much more of these reckless actions can they take from a guy they are paying over  100,000.000 to?

This is also gonna make the NCAA an estimated 5 billion dollars.

With all that being said this is music to college football fans ears. Now we will finally get to see who is the best team in the country with this 4 team playoff. So many years there has been a third or fourth team that was deserving to be in the championship game now we will get to see them. NEW BIZARRE INFORMATION IN THE JERRY SANDUSKY TRIAL....
MATTWEB27S_2_WEB
More shocking news came out today in the Jerry Sandusky trial. Sanduskys adapted son Matt Sandusky reviled today that he considered suicide after being abused when he was younger by Jerry Sandusky. During the police interview, Matt Sandusky told authorities that he was repeatedly molested by Sandusky, after first meeting the  former football coach through The Second Mile charity that Jerry founded in 1977 to help disadvantaged youths.

Matt also said in a police recording that "illustrates that he made the difficult decision to come forward and tell the painful truth." He also said that Sandusky he showered with Jerry Sandusky and rolling over in his sleep to avoid being touched.

  Another detective asked Matt Sandusky
"And when you were staying at Jerry's house, then he began to come into your bedroom at night, and he would blow raspberries on your stomach and his hand would run down and rub along or against your genital?" Matt answered "Correct." Matt kept trying to escape and go to his grandfathers house and at one said suicide was a option "I know that I really wanted to die at that point in time."

Karl Rominge who is one of the many attorneys for Jerry Sandusky said he visted Jerry Sandusky and that he is "pacing a cell, wanting to get his story out and continue to defend himself. He's not a beaten man. He maintains his innocence adamantly," He also added that Sandusky is in solitary condiment and as of Saturday he is under suicide watch. These are just more shocking and bizarre details in an already shocking and bizarre case.

Euro 2012- Semifinal Preview

The Euro championships are in full swing right now and here is a preview of the upcoming semifinal matches:

Portugal VS Spain- Wednesday June 27 at 2:45 PM on ESPN

This is a big time match up as we have Spain, a squad who has won the last two major soccer tournaments, versus Portugal, a team that features arguably the best player in the world Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese have been playing well and this is in large part because Ronaldo is scoring goals. Not only is he scoring goals but he's finding the net in clutch situations. Spain on the other hand finds itself in the Semis but haven't played their best. They are shuffling the line up a lot and don't seem to have a reliable goal scorer with David Villa hurt. One thing that is certain with Spain is their elite passing abilities. The "pass masters" are sure to dominate possession and that could limit the amount of goal scoring chances Portugal will have. Usually Spain will score a goal and then focus on the defensive side and win matches 1-0. I think that will be more difficult with this Portugal team. I can see Spain having to play a more offensive style game and that will mean having Fernando Torres up front instead of the 6 mid fielders that manager Vincent del Bosque has been throwing out there. If Del Bosque does decide to use the 6 mid fielders again I think it will be far less effective then it was against France. Ronaldo and Nani, who patrols the opposite wing, are too good on the counter attack. With all that being said this should be an exciting game to watch.

Prediction- Spain wins 2-1.

Germany VS Italy- Thursday June 28 at 2:45 on ESPN

The next semifinal match features the Germans vs the Italians. The German side has looked unbeatable so far in these European championships. In their previous quarterfinal game vs Greece they won 4-2 and that was even after resting some of their big guns. Italy is fresh off a quarterfinal victory vs. England where they dominated possession but didn't score any goals to show for it. They had plenty of chances to score though but just couldn't seal the deal. They defeated England in a shootout led by their star goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon. Germany always seems to struggle against Italy and if they are going to win this match Mesut Ozil is going to have to create opportunities for his teammates to score like he's been doing all tournament. Mario Gomez is Germany's biggest threat to score a goal and will have to make the most of his chances. If Italy is going to win they have to convert their scoring chances which is something they didn't do in the quarterfinals vs. England. Germany has great pace and a powerful attack and it's nothing for them to score 3 or 4 goals in a game so Italy has to control possession. I think in the end the German attack will overwhelm Italy and win this match.

Prediction: Germany wins 2-0.

WHO IS THE BEST NUMBER ONE PICK SINCE 1985??
Since the NBA lottery was introduced in 1985, 18 of the 27 No. 1 overall picks have become All-Stars.

Since 1985 we have had a lot of great number one picks. The question is now who is the best number one pick since then. Here are my top 5.

5.) Patrick Ewing
The man who brought the Knicks back. Ewing was one the more highly looked at prospects NBA prospects of all time. Ewing mostly lived up to it making the Knicks a force for many years. This Hall of Famer has done so much the one thing he that he dint do and will regret is not winning a ring for the Knicks.

4.) David Robinson
Another Hall of Famer Robinson is one of the main reasons why the Spurs are relevant. Robinson is one of the greatest centers we have ever seen. He won two world titles with the Spurs and also retired as a champion which is something players dream of.

3.) LeBron James
I know what your saying " LeBron only three!" Well when you look at the other two guys you will understand. LeBron has become the best player in the game today and is gonna go down as an all time great.  LeBron is a three time MVP and now a NBA finals MVP and champion.

2.) Shaq

The most dominate center of our generation Shaq has done so much. Between MVPs, All Star Games, Finals MVPs and wins. The most impressive thing to me is other then his first year when his team went 41-41 Shaq never missed the playoffs no matter where he went or who he was traded to.

1.) Tim Duncan

The greatest power forward ever. Duncan has done so much in the game. Hes a 4 time champion former MVP. Duncan to me is a slam dunk as the greatest number one pick mainly because, he has stood at the same place he was drafted at and has done all his greatness that means a lot when you think about this question.
Rumor of Eli Manning Death is FALSE!

There was a rumor tonight that Eli Manning died in a car crash. I am here to report that is false. Eli is alive and well The two time Super Bowl Champion and MVP is doing just fine. It is very sad that someone made this up and reported it.
POST NBA FINALS NEW AND NOTES...
With the  NBA season over now its time to look towards the draft and free agency lets take a look at some news and notes.

  • Danny Ferry was named Hawks GM today. Ferry is best known for his work with the Cavs during the LeBron James days.
  • JR smith declined his option with the Knicks. It is belived he will join the Knicks still but for a multiyear deal
  • There is a rumor that the Raptors would trade the 8th pick in the draft to the Rockets for Kyle Lowery. The Raptors are now saying they are keeping the pick
  • Ray Allen who is a free agent is looking at many different options. The main team looking to get Allen is the defending champion Heat. Allen has said he is interested in the Heat. The Heat can only offer 3 million to Allen
  • Tony Parker is likely not to play in the Olympics after getting injured in the eye during the Drake and Chris Brown brawl.
  • Steve Nash has been talked about going to many places, but the team that has taken the lead is the Raptors.
  • Even though he has been in many rumors. It is still very unlikely that Bulls All Star forward Luol Deng will be traded.
  • The top free agent this year Deron Willimans has said the two teams he is thinking about going to is either the Brooklyn Nets or Dallas Mavericks.

  • David Stern plans to appeal the ruling on the Knicks players Steve Novack and Jermey Linn getting mid level contracts. This can hurt the Knicks when it comes to free agency as this will go past July 1st when free agency starts.

    • The Rockets are trying to trade the 14 and 16 pick in the draft to move up. The Rockets are looking to get  Andre Drummond.

MIAMI HEAT HOLD CHAMPIONSHIP PARADE.... LeBron and Wade SHARE SHOCKING INFO
Miami Heat Victory Parade And Rally

The streets of South Beach was host of the Miami Heat victory parade today. The whole Heat organization was there as they celebrated there NBA Championship. The party went all the way to American Airlines Arena as the team had some fun. The team had a few surprises. Pat Riley showed up with the glasses that many of the player have now a days. Mike Milller talked about asking Riley not to get rid of him. Dwyane Wade talked about him barley being 80% healthy for the finals. Even the finals MVP Lebron James talked about posing with a couple for there wedding day (picture below).

It was a big party in Miami. For the Heat it will keep going for the next few weeks as the Heat have media and talk show appearances to do. The fun and games wont last long as the Heat coach Eric Spolstra said "hes gonna real them in soon" as the Heat get ready to defend there title next season.
TOP 10 HITTERS IN BASEBALL RIGHT NOW
Last week I talked about all the great pitchers we have in the game of baseball. With all those great pitchers their is still a lot of great hitters in the game. Lets take a look at who I think are the top 10.

10.) Melky Cabrera
Melky has come a long way. The one time number 9 hitter of the Yankees World Series winning team in 2009. Has become one of the better hitters in the game. He was at one time the worst players stats wise in the game, but now he is on pace to lead the league in hits. What makes it more amazing is the stadium he plays in is one of the most pitcher friendly parks in the game today.

9.) Robinson Cano
To me Cano has the best swing in the game. He can hit to all fields and ca hit for contact or power. Cano is just a great hitter. The line up he is in and the stadium he plays at helps him out as well. The protection in the line up helps Cano get better pitches to hit. Even when teams try to pitch around him Cano still gets the job done. Cano really has no weaknesses.

8.) Matt Kemp Matt Kemp
If healthy Kemp would be one. Kemp can very easily be the best offensive players in the game Kemp said before the year he was aiming to get 50 steals and 50 homers. To start the year was off to a crazy pace to get that. Unforchentely injuries derailed Kemp who looked early on to be the NL MVP. Lets hope Kemp can come back healthy and continue where he left off.

7.) Joey Votto

The former NL MVP and leader of The Reds. Votto is having another great season. Hitting for power and average Votto is showing this season that he is one of the leagues best. Votto is having a year like his MVP year a few seasons ago. If Votto keeps this up he can be looking at another MVP award.

6.) Adam Jones
To me Adam Jones is a future MVP and the next great player in baseball. He has all the tools for a hitter he can hit for power and contact. He goes to all fields. To me Jones is gonna be a star. He also plays in a very hitters friendly park. Jones to me has everything it takes in the next couple years to be the best hitter in the game.

5.) David Wright
What a difference two years make and moving in some fences make. Just last season David Wright was struggling and many people with in the Mets thought about trading him. Then the Mets moved in the fences and Wright worked hard in the off season now he leads the NL in average and looks like the old David Wright. Which is a great thing for Mets fans.

4.) Miguel Caberra
I think any other year or any other point in the year I rank him one, but the guys in front of him are on a roll. Caberra has everything you look for in a hitter. When you need a single he gets it. When you need a double he gets it. A homer he gets it. He has a chance for the triple crown every single year.

3.) Carlos Gonzalez
Cargo is another guy who I think we are looking at the future of the game. Cargo is on tear this year. Hitting for power and average much like a couple years ago when he almost got the triple crown. Cargo looks to be  playing that way again. What makes him more impressive is that his teammate and other big bat Troy Tulowitzki has been out most of the year and Cargo has still carried the lowed with little to no protection.

2.) Ryan Braun
The defending NL MVP is off to a better start then he was last year at this time. Which is impressive because this season he dosent have Prince Feilder in the line up. Braun Is looking like the front runner for the MVP again this year. Braun to me is on a mission this year to shut all the people up that said his MVP award was tainted because oif his failed drug test which was latter over turned.

1.) Josh Hamilton
It really is scary how good this guy is. He dosent just hit for power he launches the ball. The ball sounds different coming off his bat. Many people call him the natural because of how gifted and good he is. The only thing stopping Josh Hamilton from being even better is him self. If he keeps his head right and stays healthy we may be looking at one the most dominate hitters we ever seen.

Honerable mentions, Albert Pojuls , Andrew McCutchen,  Mike Trout, Mark Trumbo, Carlso Beltran, Jason Kipnis, David Ortiz, Jose Bautista, Michael Bourn, and Josh Redick

The NFL's Top 10 Quarterbacks

Here's another top 10 list this time counting down the NFL's Top 10 Quarterbacks.
Note: I didn't include Peyton Manning because he was injured all last year but he would make the list if I had.

10. Michael Vick- Vick starts the list off at number 10 and even after an injury plagued year it's hard to find a QB who gives defensive coordinators more headaches then him. Vick is the eagles most valuable player and just couldn't catch a break last year when it came to the injuries. There was times when the eagles had a good chance to win a game but would lose because Vick had to leave because of an injury. He's the best dual threat QB the NFL has ever seen and there is no doubting the talent he is. I look for him to have a pro bowl type year in the 2012-2013 season.

9. Phillip Rivers- Rivers didn't have a great year last year. The Chargers looked like they would be a force in the AFC to start the year but after the bye week they went on a 6 game losing streak and eliminated any shot they had at a playoff appearance. Rivers didn't look like himself but then again there was times where his star receiver Vincent Jackson would disappear in games and he even had some 1 catch games. Still, Rivers throws one of the best deep balls in the game and should be back to form next year even without the Tampa bound Jackson.
8. Tony Romo- Romo might have the most critics of anyone on this list. The biggest knock on him is that he can't win a big game. He hasn't proven that wrong yet but he does put the Cowboys in good situations to win games. He doesn't get much help from the running game, the O line or in some cases his kicker, but Romo is a QB a lot of teams would love to have.

7. Matt Stafford- Stafford was a monster to say the least last season throwing for over 5000 yards and 41 touchdowns. Yes, he does have Calvin Johnson catching balls from him but Stafford has a rocket arm and is a great fit with Calvin. They have a chance to be one of the most lethal QB-WR combos to ever play the game. The only thing that will prevent Stafford from becoming an elite QB and having seasons similar to the one he had last season is his health. He is injury prone but if he stays healthy Stafford is one of the best QBs in the game.

6. Ben Roethlisberger- Big Ben doesn't always have the video game stats but he's a winner. He has two super bowls and has the traits of a lot of big time QB's. As a Bengals fan I have to deal with him twice a year and it's not fun. It seems like every game he extends plays by avoiding a sack and makes a big time play. You can always count on him playing through an injury as well. If you need a win in a big game he would be up there on the list of QB's I'd take.

5. Cam Newton- Some might think this is too high for Newton but after the year he just had as only a rookie it's hard to have him any lower. He had one of the greatest rookie seasons ever and revitalized the Panthers team. All you have to do is look at what Steve Smith last year. He was disgruntled and hadn't cracked 1000 yards since 08-09 but this past season he had one of his best years in the NFL and that was because of Newton. 4000+ yards throwing and 21 touchdowns are impressive enough by itself for a rookie but when you add in his 700 rushing yards and 14 rushing touchdowns you have to wonder how good this Cam is going to be in 2 or 3 years.

4. Eli Manning- Fresh off his second Super Bowl victory it's obvious Eli is elite. Everyone wants to mention stats when talking about Eli but he makes up for his lack of big time stats with his ability to win games in the clutch. His 15 4th quarter touchdowns last year was most all time. And if you have home field in a playoff game just make sure Eli is not the opposing QB because it's almost sure to be Giant victory

3. Drew Brees- Brees is another guy who can probably be number 1 on this list and nobody would fight it but I have him at 3. He he had a crazy year last year setting the record for yards thrown with 5,476 and leading the league in touchdowns with 46. Some people thought Drew Brees was too small to be an elite QB in this league but all his critics have been proven wrong.

2. Tom Brady- Not much to say about Brady that hasn't been already said. The guy rarely has an elite WR and still puts up great numbers. His teams are always super bowl contenders and he probably holds down this spot on a lot of top 10 QB of all time lists let alone a list of the top 10 QB's coming into this season.

1. Aaron Rodgers- I don't think you can go wrong with Brady in this spot but I put Rodgers here. 45 touchdowns and 6 interceptions is just ridiculous. He had a disappointing playoff loss to the Giants but it's hard to look at his numbers and not have him 1 on this list. He does have a super bowl and his QB rating last year was 122.5 for the year and that probably won't be topped a while. You can argue he has the best WR core in the game but even so he still puts up amazing numbers.

TOP 10 MONDAY: TOP TEN NBA PLAYERS OF ALL TIME.DOSE LeBRON MAKE THELIST?

With every sport we always rank the top 10 of all time. For some reason when it comes to the NBA the list is a little harder to make. With the NBA compared to the rest of the sports leagues being pretty young and many people seeing there own way to rank the players. Right now im gonna rank my top 10 NBA players of all time......

10.) Bill Russell Billrussell_display_image
The greatest champion of all time and arguably the greatest defensive center of all time. Bill Russell was dominate in his era. He was the leader of all those great Boston Celitc teams coach Red Auerbach. Russell won 11 championships in 13 seasons. Think about how today repeating is a hard thing to do and just think about 11 in 13 years. He even won as a player coach. His dominance is so respected that the NBA Finals MVP award is named after him.

9.) Shaquille O'Neal /
Shaquille O'Neal better know as Shaq was the most dominate center in our generation. When Shaq was in his prime and in shape Shaq was a force none can stop. Shaq was a leader who always made his teams better. Made the playoffs every season but his 1st and even that year he led his Magic team to a 41-41 record. Shaq is a four time champion three with the Lakers and one with the Heat. He is a former rookie of the year, MVP in 2000, Olympic gold medalist,  three time all star game MVP,and a  three time finals MVP. Shaq has done it all in his career.

8.) Oscar Robertson
The man who I feel is one of if the not the most underrated player of all time. Oscar was the original Mr. Triple double. He was able to play three different postions he can pass, shoot, and get rebounds. He was able to do it all. The big O was great. Former MVP and Finals champion. Oscar Robertson never gets the respect he deserves. When you see great player get triple doubles and set records for them you still see the Big Os name right up there. That talks to the greatness of Oscar Robertson

7.) Kobe Bryant
Say what you want about Kobe but he deserves to be up here. Kobe is a 5 time champion and former MVP. Kobe has won championships with two different set of core teammates. He is the most clutch player we have seen since Michael Jordan, He is also the closest thing we have seen to him. Kobe is someone who expects to be great. He is also somone that isnt happy unless he is holding up the trophy at the end of the year.

6.) Tim Duncan
The greatest Power Foward of all time Tim Duncans greatness is some times over looked. He dosent do everything flashy he dose it the right way. He plays in San Antonio which isnt the biggest market. Yet Dancan has won 4 championships and is right up there with some of the greatest defenders we have ever seen. He is one of the few players in history to have a triple double in the clinching game of a NBA finals. Duncan is great nothing else you can say.

5.) Larry Bird Aadl024larrybirdposters_display_image
Believe it or not the Celtics werent always winning championships aand the NBA wasnt always popular. Thanks to Larry Bird both those things changed in the 80s. Larry helped spark the Celtics franchise and bring them back to there winning ways by bringing back multipla championships and MVPs to Boston. His rivalry with Magic Johnson also help make the game popular again. Larry is also one of the great shooters and trash talkers of our time. He will always be a legend in Boston which is saying a lot

4.) Kareem Abdul Jabbar

The man with the most un stoppable shot in NBA history the sky hook. Kareem has done so much in his career. Starting out with the Bucks and winning with them. Then going down to the Lakers and winning with them some more. This former 6 time MVP has done so much, but his most impressive acomplishment is that he played center for 20 years. Which for a big man is saying a lot. Just ask Yao Ming.

3.) Wilt Chamberlain
If you scored a 100 points in a NBA game your pretty game. Wilt was dominate. The numbers he would put up would be insane. He averaged 50 points in a season. Just think about that 50 points. He also led the league in assist at one point which for a center is saying something. If it wasnt for Bill Russell and those great Celtic teams Wilt would of won a lot more and could maybe have 10 rings.

2.) Magic Johnson

The greatest point guard ever and leader of the show time Lakers Magic was the right man in the right place at the right time. Magic can do so many things with the basketball he made everyone around him better. He had great court vision and passing ability. Mixed that with his size and speed you have something. He ever started at center in his rookie year game 7 of the NBA finals against the 76ers. Him along with Larry Bird brought basketball back to the forefront in the 80s. He won five Championships in his career before it had to sadly end because of the HIV virus. Non the less Magic is and forever will be one of the greatest of all time.

1.) Michael Jordan
Who else did you think it would be. The greatest winner scorer competitor you need it he was great at it. Michael was the most clutch player ever. He was a 6 NBA Finals winner and Finals MVP. Led the Bulls to two three peats. From now until the end of time, Jordan’s impact will be felt throughout the basketball world. There will never be another player like him. He took the sport to another level. He had it all. He can score pass defend anything you told him to do he would do it. He was gonna do what ever it takes to win. Michael Jordan is the greatest ever and for anyone to compare any other player to him is a otter joke.
