SPINZZ AND DRAFF 2012 NBA DRAFT PREVIEW.................
The NBA Finals are over. For NBA fans the next day to look forward to is the 2012 NBA draft. The day when everyones favorite team builds towards the future For this post me and MR Draff will be doing are own mock draft the way we feel it should go down in a couple weeks and we will look back at its after the draft lets get started...

1.) Hornets : Spinzz : Anthony Davis DRaff: Anthony Davis

Spinzz: The only guy in this draft that is a franchise changer in many peoples minds. To me he is gonna be a guy that chnages the Hornets defense he is gonna make them better in that aspect and he also has a ever improving offensive game as well. He is most defiantly a future all star.

Raff:This is a no brainer. If there is a can't miss prospect in this draft it's Davis.

2:) Bobcats: Spinzz: Thomas Robinson Raff: Thomas Robinson

Spinzz: The Bobcats have not have the best luck when picking inside the top 10. Mainly because they always go for high risk guys. This year they have to take Robinson for two reasons. One he is the safe pick and two he gives you a low post threat you dont help and he can really help out Kemba and the rest of those guards the Bobcats have.

Raff: Robinson would be a good fit with Biyombo in the frontcourt. Undersized but Robinson can score which is something the Bobcats need.

3.) Wizards: Spinzz: Bradley Beal Raff: Bradley Beal
Spinzz: The player who has a shot to be the best player in this draft. To me the Wizards are right now building to keep John Wall in DC with the the trade to get Nene. They also just recently got Emeka Okafor and Trever Ariza from the Hornets. You add Beal to that mix the Wizards might be the surprise of the league next year.

Raff:This seems like an obvious pick now that the Wizards just got Okafor and Ariza in a trade. Beal has a ton of potential, go youtube this kid and watch his jump shot it's a thing of beauty.

4.) Cavaliers: Spinzz: Michael Kid-Cilchrist Raff: Harrison Barnes

Spinzz: As a fan of Kyrie Irving and John Wall I hope this happens for both or even flip flop it. The cavs would get a player in MKC who is a great athlete. Not gonna be your top scorer but dosent need to be with the parts they have and with him going to Cavs with Irving it will only make him better.

Raff:Cavs supposedly like Barnes. I think they wanted Beal but since he's likely a wizard, Cavs take another wing with high potential in Barnes. Barnes' game translates a lot better to the NBA then it did in College.

5.) Kings: Spinzz: Harison Barns Raff: Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

Spinzz: I am not big on Barns at all even in college but I do think he can do well with the Kings. You stick him with Evans and Cousins he can be a very solid player for the kings.

Raff: Kings get a great value pick here. MKG is probably the second best prospect in this draft behind his college teammate Davis. Needs work on his jumper but he's going to be a great defender and high energy player.

6.) Blazers: Spinzz: Damiam Lillard Raff:  Andre Drummond

Spinzz:A player who is sky rocketing up everyones draft boards. Lillard will be perfect for the Blazers can score at will. Can force the defense to focused on him Which can help Lamarcus Aldridge out a lot

Raff:
Blazers get Drummond who in my opinion has the most potential of any player in this draft including Davis. He's a physical freak and shouldn't have even been in college last year. Blazers can move Aldridge to PF and get a true center with Drummond with this pick.

7.) Warriors: Spinzz: Andre Drummond Raff: Damian Lillard
Spinzz:  For years ive said that Golden State needs a legit big man to be a playoff team and here he is. Drummond has a chance to be great and if the Warriors let him develop they may have gotten the best player in the draft when we look back in a few years.

Raff:
Lillard has been impressive in workouts and it's obvious Steph Curry is injury prone and could be used as trade bait down the line. Even with Curry in the mix Lillard is a nice pick since he can be used as a combo guard.

8.) Raptors: Spinzz: Dion Watters Raff: Dion Waiters
Spinzz: There is a rumor out that a team promised him that they will take him in the lottery. While the Raptors say is wasnt them it would make sense for them to take him. They would get younger at the point which is something they have needed for years.

Raff:  I think Waiters ends up being one of the best players from this draft and the best wing. He's a bull who can get to rim at will and has an underrated jump shot.

9.) Pistons: Spinzz: Perry Jones III  Raff:John Henson
Spinzz: This makes all the sense in the world for me. Jones is very athletic something the pistons need bad to help out Brandon Knight.

Raff: Henson would be a good fit next to Greg Monroe. He has a lot of length and will be a great defender.

10.)  Hornets: Spinzz: Austin Rivers Raff:Austin Rivers
Spinzz: To me this would make the Hornets a playoff team sooner then latter. Rivers can score the ball and take over games. He played in Duke in big presure games and him big shots and he also has a high NBA IQ with his Dad being one the best coaches in the league Doc Rivers.

Raff:  Rivers could become the best scorer from this draft with his ability to get to the rim. His game suits the NBA much more then it did the NCAA.

11.) Blazers: Spinzz: Jermey Lamm Raff: Kendall Marshall

Spinzz: This is a tough one because the Blazers can go so many ways with this pick. I think Lamm will fall and they will take him and match him up with Lillard to create a big time back court.

Raff:  I think this pick could be dealt but if Portland stays put they get Marshall. Marshall is a pure PG and the best passer in this draft. Needs to improve his shooting but he will be a nice fit for the Blazers.

12.) Bucks: Spinzz: Jared Sullenger Raff:Tyler Zeller

Spinzz: The Bucks are gonna need a low post threat with the combo of Jennings and Ellis. Sulleneger will be a guy who can be that guy down low that Andrew Bogout was.

Raff:  Bucks traded Andrew Bogut for Monte Ellis this past season and need a center to replace him.

13.) Suns: Spinzz Terance Ross Raff:Jeremy Lamb

Spinzz: A player who is NBA ready and a guy that can give you a little bit of everything. The Suns are gonna need that next season if they keep Steve Nash since you know he wants to get back to the playoffs

Raff:Suns need a lot of backcourt help and have to start thinking about life after Nash. Lamb is a great shooter but wasn't as aggressive as he should've been in college.

14 Rockets: Spinzz: Kendall Marshall Raff: Meyers Leonard

Spinzz: Kendall Marshall is a impact guy who can give the Rockets Depth in there back court. He will be the point guard of the future there and is a guy that can be a all star if he is right.

Raff:Rockets take Leonard a big who is a legit 7 footer and has good athleticism.

15.) 76ers: Spinzz: John Henson Raff:Terrence Jones

Spinzz: A athletic big that the sixers need right away. Hes gonna help them right away on d and in time on offense. He will be the replacement for Elton Brand

Raff:  Sixers could decide between a couple of Jones' and they take Terrence here. They need the frontcourt help big time.

16.) Rockets: Spinzz: Tyler Zeler Raff:- Perry Jones III-

Spinzz: Zeller is gonna be a guy I think who is gonna be a solid part two a good team. Not an all star but a guy that will do the little things for you to help you win and to be the second pick in the 1st round for the rockets its a even better pick.

Raff:Jones has a crazy amount of potential but he's been marketing himself as a SF which may not be the best idea. He looked hesitant at times in college but I think the Rockets like the value with this pick.

17) Mavs: Spinzz: Meyers Leonard Raff:Arnett Moultrie

Spinzz: The Mavs are missing that big 7 foot center since Tyson Chandler left and this might be it. The thing is how long will he be there? Will the mavs use this pick to get a Dwight Howard or Deoron Williams?

Raff:Moultrie might be the best player available. Mavs could use the frontcourt help and Dirk isn't getting any younger.

18.) Wolves: Spinzz: Spinzz: Quincy Miller Raff: Terrence Ross

Spinzz: The Molves have a lot of bigs and a great passing point guard. With there not being a lot of SGs worth taking here unless someone falls I think Millers the pick here. Also I do think this is a pick that will be traded.

Raff:Wes Johnson hasn't lived up the hype and regardless the Wolves need wing help. Ross is a good prospect. He's a great shooter with good size and athleticism. Will have a ton of open shots with Rubio running the show.

19.) Magic: Spinzz: Arentt Moultire Raff:Moe Harkless

Spinzz: A big atheletic powerd foward that the magic have been missing. Can be a guy who can come off the bench and give you good minutes when Dwight or Big Baby is out and help the Depth.

Raff: I played against Moe Harkless in HS and saw his potential up close and personal. The Magic like what they see as well and take Harkless here.

20.) Nuggets: Spinzz: Terance Jones Raff:- Royce White

Spinzz: I am a big fan of this guy. I think with the right fit he can be a all star and I think this is a place. With all the wepons around him and a great coach like George Karl this will be a great fit for Jones.

Raff:Point-Forward and one of the most talented players in this draft. Nuggets can use his versatility.

21.) Celtics: Spinzz: Moe Harkless Raff:Jared Sullinger

Spinzz: The Celtics have the next two picks and with these picks they are gonna take guys who are you and athletic but they are gonna take them at spots where they are the oldest small forward and center. Moe can be that athlectic player they need at the small forward position.

Raff:Crazy to see Sullinger fall this far but his recent red flagging by doctors gives the Celtics a big time player.

22.) Celtics: Spinzz: Fab Melo  Raff:  Fab Melo

Spinzz: If this happens the Celtics got the steal of the draft. Melo was a defensive presnces and if he pairs up with the Celtics and they bring back KG and he learns from them and with Rondo to set him up this will be a steal.

Raff:  Celtics need the inside help and get a defensive force in Melo. If he works on his offensive game he can be a big time player in the league.

23..) Hawks: Spinzz: Royce White  Raff:   Will Barton
Spinzz: A 6'9 foward who if he stays out of trouble can be a big help to the hawks in his rookie year.
Raff:  One of my favorite players in college Barton is a beast. Good scorer who took over a lot of games at Memphis. Could be good backup to Joe Johnson.

24.) Cavs: Spinzz:Jeff Taylor Raff:   Andrew Nicholson

Spinzz: Can defend and also be a scoring threat good fit for the Cavs

Raff:  Good inside-outside big man. Had a good conference tournament and will help the Cavs in the frontcourt.

25.)Grizzles: Spinzz: Doron Lammb  Raff:   Evan Fournier

Spinzz: They need an outside prescience hes it can be a good fit with that deep team.

Raff:   Fournier is a Euro who has good size at 6'7 and can play SG and SF. He's a good shooter and is only 19 years old. Grizzlies like him and take him here.

26.)Pacers: Spinzz: Marquis Teague  Raff:  Marquis Teague

Spinzz: Pacers badly need a solid back up point Teague can be it with the skills to be a starter in the future

Raff: Teague is another one of the players who had he stayed another year in school he's a lotto pick. I like his game a lot and think he's a steal here.

27.) Heat: Spinzz: Festus Ezeli  Raff:   Draymond Green

Spinzz: Heat need a young big he fits right in for them

Raff:  Saying the heat need some frontcourt help is an understatement. Why not add Green and get a versatile one who can score inside and outside and is a very smart player.

28.) Thunder: Spinzz: Draymond Green
 Raff:  Quincy Miller

Spinzz: A versatile big and a guy who is a great leader someone who the Thunder would love to have

Raff:
Miller was one of my favorite players in college this past year and would easily be a top 10 pick in this draft had he not blown out his knee his senior year in HS. Nevertheless the Thunder like his KD style of play and the length he brings and take him here.

29.) Bulls: Spinzz:Jon Jenkins  Raff: Jon Jenkins

Spinzz: Maybe the best shooter in the draft something the Bulls really need even more now then ever with no Rose

Raff:  Jenkins is a prolific shooter and could be the Bulls shooting guard of the future. Derrick Rose will get you a lot of open shots.

30: Warriors: Spinzz: Tyshawn Taylor
  Raff:  Festus Ezeli

Spinzz: A leader and a floor general if you have any questions about this guy watch this past years NCAA tourny and how he played for Kansas answers all questions and would be great for the Warriors who may trade this pick to the Knicks.

Raff:One of the biggest players in this draft Ezeli could be a good backup to Andrew Bogut.
