TOP 10 PITCHERS IN BASEBALL RIGHT NOW
The last couple years it has widely been know as the year of the pitcher. Not really since the days of Bob Gibson have we seen a strech of pitching the way we do right now. So for this top 10 we are doing the top 10 pitchers RIGHT NOW. So there are gonna be some big times names missing some names you may of never herd be for,and names you may think should be on the list but isnt. Lets get started.

10.) Lannce Lynn
Proof that anyone can be a great pitcher for the Cardnials. Lynns Numbers are mind blowing for a guy none thought would be this good. 10-2 2.42 ERA for a guy who was spouse to be in the bullpen...Crazy

9.) Felix Herndez
Probably my favorite pitcher in baseball and a former Cy Young award winner who still i dont think gets the respect he should. King Felix is a pitcher that has some of the best stuff in baseball. Always up there in ERA and strike outs. The only thing that hurts him is he is in Seattle. That hurts him because none is up to watch his games and that team never puts up runs for him. If he ever gets decent run suport he would  a guy who can win Cy Young every year.

8.) C.C. Sabthia

The Ace of the 27 time world champions New York Yankees CC has shown since coming to New York that he is a big time pitcher to those that dint think so already. CC is a guy who wants to ball every day and will give you all he has. CC is a gamer who will do what it takes for his team to win. That is shown more then ever this year with CC not having his best stuff to start the year but is still getting wins for the Yankees who right now are on top the al east and is the hotest team in baseball.

7.) David Price
The 26 year old Ace Lefty for the Rays is one of the most intimidating pitchers in the game. The big lefty can throw in the mid 90s. Price is someone who else can use a lot of run support. Price is on a team that dosent score a lot of runs which puts a lot of pressure on him to go out there and pitch near perfect. Price is always a guy who will give you a lot of strike outs and a good ERA. He also pitchers this well in the AL east which is saying a lot considering who he has to face.

6.) Gio Gonzalez
8-3 97 stike outs a 2.52 ERA is the front line starter on the NL East leading teams staff. If I would of gave you those numbers and said who is that. You would of said Roy Holliday, Cliff Lee, or Josh Johnson, but its neather its Gio Gonzalez on the Nationals. Gio has been nothing short of awesome ever since coming to the Nats from the A's. A pitcher who can throw any pitch Gio has been a guy who a lot have baseball fans have been waiting to break out and its great hes finally doing it leading the Nationals to maybe a division title for the first time since coming to D.C.

5.) Clayton Kershaw
A guy who I feel is the best young player in the game today. The defending NL Cy Young award winning pitcher has not disappointed  this year. A guy who has the ability to go and be perfect every night. The scary thing with Kershaw is hes only 23 and is still learning how to pitch. A great thing for the Dodgers a very bad thing for the rest of baseball.

4.) Mat Cain

Mat Cain is the most underrated pitcher in baseball. A pitcher who has been around for a long time Cain has played under the shadown of Tim Lincecum for a very long time. It is good to see him finally get the respect he deserved after pitching that perfect game. He may very well be the front runner for the NL Cy Young right now.

3.) Stephen Strasburg

The young phenom is pitching the way everyone said he was gonna pitch from when he was in college. The ACE of the first place Nationals Strasburg has been a big reason why the Nationals are in the position they are in right now. The first pitcher to a 100 strikeouts this season Strasburg has had a amazing season. The only thing that may stop him is is Nationals GM Mike Rizzo has said that he will shut him down at 160 innings. This can hurt his Cy Young hopes and most impotently the Nationals playoff hopes.

2.) R.A. DICKY

A few years ago when he couldnt make it out of 2 innings with Texas if you would of told me RA Dicky would be the number two pitchers in baseball I would of thought you had to be related to him. But it is true Dicky is the number two pitcher in baseball, and for the Mets. The knuckle baller has confused the whol National league with his 10-1 record and his near two ERA Dicky as the ACE of the staff has made the Mets a contender for a playoff spot. Dicky an ACE and Mets contender.....2012 is here.

1.) Justin Verlander
Verlander is king until someone knocks him off. The defending AL MVP and Cy Young award winner. A guy who everyone thinks hes gonna throw a no hitter every time he goes out there. He is also someone who throws a 100 with ease there is none better right now there is nothing you can say about this guy that hasnt been said.

Honorable mentions James Mcdonald, Cj Wilson, Cole Hamels, Madison Bumgarner, Chris Sale, Wade Miley, Johny Cueto and many more pitcher who you can stick in here in the new ERA of the pitcher.
