TOP 10 MONDAY 

Every monday we are gonna do a top 10. Depending on the day I may do more then one. Top 10 list creat great debates between sports fans all alike the first top 10 is top 10 NBA players right now. This is considering right now as of the playoffs and everything that gone on in the playoffs. Players that are hurt like Derrick Rose and Dwight Howard will not be on this list.

10.) Kevin Love 

    The only player on the list to miss the playoffs this year Kevin Love was a beast. The best power foward in basketball isnt gonna be on ESPN for dunks but he will be there hitting a big shot and for getting 20 rebounds. He has an outside game a post game is a good passer he can do it all. Love is the leader of the young and upcoming Wolves who i think in two or three years if they keep the core will be the next OKC.

9.) Tony Parker                       

   
    The leader of the team with the best record in the west Tony Parker had a MVP type season. Parker really turned a curve this year. Normally a shoot first PG Parker changed his style to a pass 1st type guard and helped carry the Spurs to the top seed in the west. Parker was huge in mixing the Vets of the Spurs and young players together this season and also helped change the pace with the Spurs to up tempo. Different from years past when the spurs would grind out low scoring games. The change was mainly due to Parker.                                              
8.) Carmelo Anthony                                          

    To me the second best pure scorer other then Kevin Durant Carmelo Anthony is a big time player. He can put 40 points up any night and can also carry a team. Question about his D and being a lead are still there but were tone down this season at time. Espeacilly when Amare Stoudemire went down with his injuries Melo stepped up. Even when Linsanity took over it was quickley remembered who the go to guy was in Miami when that died down. For everything thing hes done big shots 40 point games his most impressive feet was leading the Knicks to there first play off win since the Jef Van Gundy days...Now thats saying something.

7.) Russel Westbrook

This might be the first shocker of the list but the number dont lie. Russel Westbrook is becoming one of the best players in the NBA right now. Yes he takes a lot of shots. Yes he should get the ball to KD more but this is a list for right now. Right now he is one of the best. Other then Derrick Rose Westbrook is the only PG that can get to the paint and score with no problem. His mid range game is improved and every year his decision making has gotten better. Russel Westbrook needs to stop getting ripped on and start being respected  for being a player that has to be a pg and a sg all at once. Not a easy job.

                                                                                                     


6.) Rajon Rando     I really dont think people realize how good Rando is. The days of saying he only does what he does cause of the big three are over. Rando is a force and made took the big three farther then anyone thought. No other point guard in the game is a threat for a triple double every night like he is. No other point guard come playoff time steps his game up like Rondo. Taking out what hes done in this years playoffs which was special. Hes won a championship has taken the Celtics to two finals and has played better in the bigger games. Rando gets better every year and is gonna be the reason the Celtics will be a contender next year when they get younger with there two first round picks and getting breaking up the big three. The future is only bright for Rando.

 5.) Chris Paul      The leader of lob city CP3 was a MVP canidate for most of the year before injuries really hurt his chances. Paul  took a the lownly Clippers from lottery team to 5th seed in the west and a game out of 1st. Yes the clippers came a game with in first and that was mainly because of Chris Paul. There may not be a better leader in the NBA then Paul and maybe other then Kobe there isnt a more competive player in the league then Chris Paul. To see what Chris Paul has done in his career with the talent around him it is scary to think what would happen if he ever got a legit number two option next to him.                                                                                                                                  4.) Dwyane Wade                                                    

 Along with Derick Rose there is no other NBA player I love watching more then Dwyane Wade. Former finals MVP and one third of the big there Wade is one of the best and most exciting players in the NBA. It is forgoten at times how good Wade is because he is with the big three. He is still the closer for that team. He is  still one of the best closers in basketball. He is also someone that will do what it takes for his team to win twice he has given the team over to other superstars ( Shaq and LeBron). Wade steps his game up the most when its money time. This postseason hes shown flashes of it but has been derailed do to his knee injury but as the finals keep going like last year we will see why Dwyane Wade is a force.                   

3.) Kobe Bryant 
   The Mamba , The ultimate close, the former mvp , the former two times finals mvp, former multy time all star game mvp , one of the top ten players arguably of all time and most importantly the 5 time champion. All names you can give Kobe. The man who when entering his 16 NBA season everyone thought was on the decline wind up putting in one of his most impressive seasons. There was times this year you would sit there and think this is the old Kobe. Kobe Bryant is not ready to leave the game. Finished second this year for the scoring title in the closes race ever. Led the lakers to 1st place and 3rd overall in the west. Kobe is still one the top players in the game and is not going away just yet.

                                            
2.) Kevin Durant                                                
    Kevin Durant is not only the best scorer in the NBA he maybe the hardest player to cover in the NBA. At 6'9  Durant is hard enough for other small forwards to worry about. You add his ability to hit any shot on the floor its all most impossible. at 23 years old Kevin Durant is a 3 time scoring champion. Has led the Thunder to the NBA finals. The man has got it all as the franchise player in what looks to be the NBA new powerhouse team in the west. The most impressive thing is his leap to be arguably the best closer and forth quarter player in the NBA. KD is cold blooded when it comes to crunch time. He takes over games in the 4th Kobe and Wade like and many people ever go as far to say Jordan like. I wont go that for but Durant is special. Durant is what everyone should love in a basketball player a quiet kid who all he wants to do is play basketball and it dosent matter where or when.

1.) LeBron James      
    Anyone that knows me knows I have been on LeBrons case since he was in high school, but I have to give the man his props he is a monster this year. LeBron has won his third MVP has lead the Heat to another NBA finals apperance and has been the big reason why. Hes put up monster numbers and hit big shots in games when the Heat are trailing in the series which I always thought he couldnt. He is the best player at attacking the basket. None in the league can defend all five spots on the floor like him. Not since Magic have we seen someone his size pass the ball the way he dose, and we have never seen none with his size and speed. LeBron is a triple double waiting to happen with his scoring, passing, and rebounding. LeBron is a freak. He is no MJ and will never be MJ,BUT I do think he is a modern day Oscar Robinson which isnt to bad itself. With all these postive things about LeBron the negitive is still there. Can he win it all and can he be clutch doing it? Hes on the right path as of now, but the finals are not over yet and we are still waiting to see if this really is a new LeBron James.


  This is a top ten that can always change and could be different if guys like Dwight Howard and the former league mvp and best point guard in the NBA Derick Rose were healthy. Let me know what you guys think and who you guys think I could of mist.
